Some of the Podcasters coming to Edinburgh Yarn Festival are stopping by the blog today with a few tips for you, if you are planning to take up the Let’s Make a Podcast Challenge in the Podcast Lounge.
Since last time I’ve been up to the top of the map, down to Yorkshire and then back to Edinburgh. Come in and have a listen to what I’ve been getting up to.
You may remember when I was talking about future plans that I hinted at some exciting collaborations….
It is the combination of the last of the EYF hangover and the changing of the clocks and the visible lengthening of the day, but I’ve had some time to think about a lot of things – some slight changes to the podcast (more on that in a future episode) and other thoughts about my own knitting, wool events and the knitting world in general.
A very laidback breakfast chat with Felix Ford, AKA KNITSONIK about our Edinburgh Yarn Festival Weekend
There is one week to go to the Edinburgh Yarn Festival and I encourage you to get those hidden WIPs out and start making plans for your languishing projects before stocking up on more yarn at the weekend!
There is a very distinct Shetland flavour to this episode as I get excited for wool week. I also have a review of the Shetland Wool Week Annual and of Hazel Tindall’s wonderful DVD The Fine Art of Fair Isle Knitting and I have some news of Shetland knitting based trips if you can’t make it to wool week this year.
I always tell you to grab a drink along with your WIP, but today you need to get your nicest china out and grab a cake, biscuit or sweet treat of your choice because today Jess James and Clare Devine are coming over to KnitBritish for a tea party to celebrate their Tea Collection hat pattern bonanza!
