Settle in, me old chinas – its another 36 mins of wool and yarning!
Welcome to a KnitBritish Yarn and Pattern Club! The best news is that you already own all the things you need. No deposit, no P&P or delivery charges. It’s all over in your stash and your ravelry library.
Sometimes, there is a design that we always mean to make again, but never quite get round to it.
It’s there, it’s on the queue, you often look at it and think about casting on… you probably even have the yarn for it, don’t you?!
with fewer than two weeks before the end of the competitive element of the KAL, I thought I would share some prizes!
We could all do with a big of balance at the moment, couldn’t we? With so much up in the air at the moment and so much of the skewed in the world at large – I aim for us to have a wee bit of balance over here in our little corner! I have got a meaningful knit story for you, (which was recovered from the big laptop death!) last year I spoke to Joanna Mouatt about two pairs of mittens her late Grannie made for her. There is also a Tale of the WIPs of Dooooom – cos balance! – Book of Hapsalong and more!
One of the things I wanted to do with the survey was to put forward a few of the ideas and suggestions I have received from you over the last wee while and gauge opinion on them. You may remember that my word for 2016 is momentum and it was with that in mind that I set out some of your suggestions.
I am very lucky that I have an incredible community around me here at KnitBritish and I hope that you might be interested in taking a few minutes to give me some feedback.
Yes! You read it correctly – I am finally knitting socks! This episode contains my socks-ploration, a yarn review of WYS Illustrious and a preview of In The Footsteps of Sheep, by Debbie Zawinski.
